Yangmingshan National Park

The park is one of the nine national parks in Taiwan, situated between Taipei and New Taipei City. It is also the only one which located closest to a metropolitan center. The natural beauty has won it the reputation as urban forest and the Taipei garden. It is famous for its cherry blossoms, hot springs, hiking trails, including Taiwan’s tallest dormant volcano, Qixing Mountain. Visitors can easily take a bus to this popular sightseeing destination.

Xinbeitou Hot Springs

Xinbeitou, the hot spring village around Xinbeitou MRT station, occupies a lush valley that is home to 1200 species of plants, 110 species of bird, and 160 varieties of butterflies. The hot springs hotels in this area are larger both in scale and number, and the natural and humanities resources are also the most plentiful here. It’s a perfect getaway place in the bustling city.

Lungshan Temple

Lungshan Temple is a famous old temple in Taiwan. Its architecture is a three-section design in shape. The temple was built in 1740, during Qing Dynasty. The doors, beams, and poles are beautifully decorated. There are also exquisite wood sculptures. The temple has many Chinese poems, verses and lyrics on signs. These add a touch of literature in addition to the religious and sightseeing value.

Raohe Street Tourist Night Market

Raohe Street Tourist Night Market is located on Raohe Street, Taipei, 600 meters in length. This area was called Xikou and was a business center due to its location and transportation. It is the second tourist night market in Taipei. A variety of products and local foods are offered in the night market. There is a decorated-archway in front of the entrance. It presents Taiwanese characteristic and is absolutely a place worth visiting.

National Palace Museum

The National Palace Museum boasts the world’s largest collection of priceless Chinese art treasures, one which spans China’s nearly 5,000-year history. There are over 600,000 art objects being part of the Chinese imperial collection, which began over 1,000 years ago in the early Song dynasty. The museum provides guide and brochure in different languages. Therefore, the museum is definitely a must-see on your itinerary.

Taiwan is well known for its diverse street food. It is the top priority to Taiwanese people in their daily lives. All kinds of regional food, from southern to northern, is served here. Taiwan is truly gourmands’ heaven. The food of Taiwan leaves every visitor an incredible impression.
